Courses
A course is a structured set of lessons your workspace publishes for its members: onboarding, a training programme, a product walkthrough. You work through it at your own pace, LEMA Chat tracks your progress, and every course has its own discussion chat so questions land next to the material.
The catalog
Open Courses in the left sidebar. The section lists every course you can see, each with your progress; click one (or the section header) to open the catalog in the main content area.
The catalog is a grid of course cards. Each card shows the course's cover image (or a branded fallback if none has been set), its title and summary, and a progress bar for how far you've got. A Draft badge marks a course that isn't published yet; a locked marker means the course unlocks lessons in order and you haven't reached that one.

Sections and lessons
A course can be flat (just lessons), or organised into sections, or nested deeper (a chapter holding sections holding lessons). Section headers carry their own progress bar; lessons show a tick once you've completed them. The labels a course uses ("Module", "Lesson", and so on) are set by whoever built it.
If the course has sequential unlock switched on, a lesson stays locked until the lessons before it are complete. Otherwise every lesson is open from the start.
Inside a lesson
Click a lesson to open it. Top to bottom, a lesson page has:
- Video or audio, if the lesson has any. Videos are hosted on YouTube (unlisted) and play in an embedded player; the player picks up where you left off, and your position is saved as you watch.
- The lesson body — text and images.
- Files — any companion files attached to the lesson (slides, PDFs), shown only when there are some.
- Complete lesson and Next — mark the lesson done and move on. Previous / next controls also sit in the header. Completing a lesson updates the progress bars everywhere and, if your workspace has it turned on, sends you a notification.
- Conversations — the course's discussion chat, embedded right there. It's a normal LEMA Chat conversation: @mention a teammate or an agent, reply in threads, react. Everyone in the workspace who can see the course shares the same discussion.

Back returns you to the course home; Esc or Close takes you back to whatever you were doing before you opened the course.
Your progress
Progress is per person and private: only you (and a facilitator running reporting on the course) can see which lessons you've completed. The Courses progress dashboard gives you one view of all your courses at once, including unread discussion.
Building a course
Creating courses, editing lessons, uploading a cover image, and reordering sections is a workspace admin capability, done in place from the course home with Edit course (or New course in the catalog). Facilitators can also see a per-learner roster and cohort summary for each course. See the Admin's Guide.
